A very informative website regarding the facts and history of Kashmir. I'm sure many people will be enlightened and mystified by the kind of in depth factual information you've dessiminated regarding politics, music and the leaders of Kashmir.

This is a very well constructed site. Can be upgraded by inclusion of other forms of kashmiri folk music. Congratulations!

Congratulations. It is a masterpiece of work and will be a singular example of its kind in the total gamut of literature on classics. It is hard work to collect antics of vestigeal material from the archives of Kashmir. God Bless

Facinating site, lots of information on each topic and I like the way you have covered more than one aspect of Kashmiri culture in detail. I stumbled accross the 'click on a picture' feature to pop up a larger image, which you have done on most pictures. However it wasn't obvious as my mouse cursor didn't change to show it was hovering over something I could click on. I use IE7 however I'm not sure if this is a bug. I appreciate the numerous links to other sites so I could continue to research the items I'm interested in. Thanks for taking the time to put this together!

Excellent Site! I have enjoyed reading about the history and the maestros. A great insight into the world of Sufiana music which has always had a very limited number of listeners due to its difficult and complicated lyrics. This site will hopefully open this aspect of Kashmiri culture to the rest of us. The site is easy to follow and the links work well. My only suggestion would be to, perhaps include translations of the songs and of any reference made in Kashmiri, Persian or Urdu. I will keep checking this site for updates. Well done!

I have gone through almost most of the website and think that it provides a wealth of information about the history, politics and music of Kashmir, not only for Kashmiri's as their cultural heritage but also for the world at large. I am sure that with the passage of time, you will update and improve the website further. The site is a cultural resource in its own right.with best wishes.
